Past Conferences2013 IISA Conference2013 IISA Conference was held in Chennai, India between January 2-5, 2013. Professor J. V. Deshpande (Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai) served as Chair of the Program Committee. Professor H. N. Nagaraja (Ohio State University) and Professor Debasis Kundu (Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur) served as co-Chairs. 2013 has been designated the International Year of Statistics and we are very pleased that the IISA meeting wil kick-off the year- long activities that are being planned around the world.
The objective of the conference is to bring together both well established and emerging young researchers from around the world who are actively pursuing theoretical/methodological research in statistics and their applications in various fields. The conference aims to provide a forum for leading experts and young researchers to discuss recent progress in statistical theory and applications, thereby provide new directions for statistical inference in various fields.
